The new Ruth's Hat album, Nostalgic for Right Now will be released on Fastmusic in the next month or so. The double CD includes a few re-recorded old songs and lots of new ones. The second CD will contain the complete Sun Sessions, recorded live off the floor at the original Sun Studios in Memphis, TN.
This is the band's first album as a four-piece, their third full-length release, and their first double CD release since their inception over 10 years ago. The new Ruth's Hat is catchy and song-driven, with loud guitars and big harmonies.
There is no official release date yet, other than "soon"
